*Mbps is short for megabits per second, equal to 1,024 kilobits per second (kbps) or 1,048,576 bits per second. However, during downloads, Windows will typically report download speeds in MegaBytes per second (MBps – capital "B" for Bytes, as opposed to bits in kbps). Since one kilobyte equals 8 kilobits, 128 kBps = 1024 kbps.

*Please Note:
    • 1 Mbps (Megabits per second) = 1,024 kbps (kilobits per second)
    • 1 MBps (MegaBytes per second) = 1 MB/sec = 8 Mbps (Megabits per second)
    • Also, 1 Gbps (Gigabit per second) = 1,024 Mbps (Megabits per second)
    • And, 1 Tbps (Terrabit per second) = 1 Tbit/s = 1,024 Gbps (Gigabits per second)
